What is solid laminated board made from albasia?

Solid laminated board (also called edge-glued panel or EGP) is a single-ply panel made by edge-gluing narrow solid lamellae of albasia (sengon, Falcataria moluccana) into a flat, dimensionally stable board. There is no veneer, no core layer, and no formaldehyde-based core — it is 100% solid softwood bonded edge-to-edge with PVAc D3/D4 or EPI adhesive.

What HS code applies to edge-glued albasia panels?

We export under HS 4421.99.9900 (BTKI 2022 — Indonesian customs tariff). This classification covers other articles of wood, n.e.s., and is the correct heading for solid edge-glued panels in Indonesia.

Is your product compliant with US TSCA Title VI / CARB Phase 2?

Our panels are single-ply solid wood and therefore fall outside the scope of US EPA TSCA Title VI and California CARB Phase 2, which regulate composite wood products such as hardwood plywood, particleboard, and MDF. We provide a written out-of-scope declaration with every US shipment.

Do you ship to Japan with F☆☆☆☆ certification?

Yes. Every Japan-bound shipment is tested to JIS A 1460 (desiccator method) and rated F☆☆☆☆ (≤0.3 mg/L average, ≤0.4 mg/L maximum). We use PVAc D3/D4 or EPI adhesives with zero added formaldehyde.

What is the MOQ and lead time?

Minimum order is 1×40HC (one 40-foot high-cube container). Production lead time is 25–35 days from order confirmation and 30% deposit, plus 18–25 days ocean transit to Northeast Asia or 28–35 days to the US West Coast and UAE.

How many panels fit in a 40HC container?

Loading depends on thickness. Examples for 1220×2440 mm panels palletized: 12 mm — ~1,120 pieces (40.0 m³); 18 mm — ~800 pieces (42.9 m³); 25 mm — ~576 pieces (42.9 m³); 40 mm — ~352 pieces (41.9 m³). All thicknesses cube out before they weigh out, so 40HC is the most economical container choice for albasia.

What is SVLK and is it included with every shipment?

SVLK (Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu) is Indonesia's mandatory timber legality assurance system. We hold a valid S-LK certificate and issue a V-Legal Document (Document V-Legal) accompanying every export consignment — this is required by Indonesian Ministry of Trade regulations for all timber product exports.
